“The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.”
1 John 3:8 AMP
I surrender.
I refuse.
I surrender my self to God,
I resist (refuse) the devil and he has to flee.
I want what Jesus came to give me.
Life, and life more abundant.
And… what Jesus came to give me so that I could give it to others.
Jesus lived this life, abundantly, while He walked the earth.
It wasn’t circumstantial for Him.
Jesus was over circumstances.
He taught the disciples how to live the same.
He said that they could move mountains.
I started this post not this Saturday, but last.
I was fed up with the pounds that I had gained after losing them,
fed up with letting things escalate to the point of stress,
Fed up with me.
Not resisting.
But this became clear the past couple of weeks.
You can’t resist until you first surrender.
We want the Blessing to come through osmosis!
Or at least, I do.
But Jesus does a thorough work.
He does this, through what we go through.
He never promised we wouldn’t go through, anything, but that we would overcome.
Look at what he accomplished just by going through a day.
Demons were casted out.
People were healed.
Peace came to storms.
He overcame the darkness.
He destroyed what was trying to destroy us!
Now it’s up to us to know what He’s given, and activate that power in our lives.
It’s time to be doers of the Word and not just hearers only!
The Spirit is always speaking.
Are we doing what He says to do?
Or saying what we hear Him say?
He’s cheering us on.
He wants to reveal Himself through us to the world.
Today is that day!
From our house to the White House and every house in between, let His Glory be known.
Jesus came to dwell in us so that we could kick butt and take names for the Kingdom.
Every home Jesus entered, life came forward.
Think of the LIGHT that’s breaking forth.. TODAY.
Today is the day of Salvation.
Happy Supernatural Friday!
