Have you ever waited anxiously by a copy machine or printer, to display on that clean white piece of paper, what you know was displayed on your computer screen.
That’s like the process of faith.
I’m thinking of Joseph,
and the process of his dream.
God had painted a picture, inside of Joesph, but it took years for Him to develop.
I’m also reminded by this next scripture, of how many processes I’ve been through and the results, My Father wants me to remember today.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us,”
Hebrews 12:1 AMP
I’m surrounded by the testimony of God stirring my heart that time to want a van.
It was that simple at first.
I would do it how I knew how.
Go to the lot, pick one out and make payments.
But in the process of wanting to Hear His voice and car shopping with God,
I was surrounded by another’s testimony.
Something this Brother had desired, that He prayed for and got debt free.
So, I began to stretch in faith for that.
It took longer than our flesh wants to take, but it was better and beyond what I could think!
I got a van, debt free, and hauled our church’s youth group around in it for several years!
I learned, and grew, in the process.
Just think of a pregnant woman.
During all three trimesters, development of that baby is taking place.
At stage three, you’re ready!
Even though lots of times it’s fine to deliver early, it’s best to wait full term.
Just because things are tight and uncomfortable, doesn’t mean it’s time to go it on your own!
God wants to do a thorough work.
If Jospeh would have seen his brothers a year or two earlier when he begged the other inmates
“To put in a good word with Pharoah,”
He may have misused his power, by harboring unforgiveness.
Trust the Process today.
Be Thankful for where you are, and where you’re headed!
You’re not where you used to be!
Allow His love that surrounds you, to stretch your faith to reach out to Him for whatever it is you need or desire.
Let the testimonies of others catapult your faith, helping you to lay aside negativity and unbelief.
