What Did You Expect?

“The eyes of all look to You [in hopeful expectation], And You give them their food in due time.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145:15‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Expect Good.”

Holy Ghost said this morning.

So, no surprise when the above scripture came from the chapter in the daily Bible app.

I had some things stirring in my mind this morning and He abruptly silenced it with that Word.

That would agree with this:

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19

Oh wow!

I get so fired up.

That was just “in.”

You know, like breaking news…

Because there is a stir going on brothers and sisters.

A flood stirs things up.

Have you ever seen the trash appear everywhere after a flood?

Yesterday there were flash flood warning in our area.

It didn’t just rain, it poured!

And life, is just like that…

Sometimes there’s so much… it’s pouring,

and there’s a flash flood in your mind.

BUT,

The Holy Spirit didn’t walk out.

He’s there, raising the Standard.

The Word…

It comes forth and stillness returns.

The trash is dealt with.

At this point, we can either let it lay around in our mind, or pick it up and rid ourselves of it,

By expecting the Good.

Because the Word (The Standard) says WE CAN!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

All things.

So, we can expect good.

If you look around you, it’s not hard to see ungodliness flooding our nation.

Disease.

Lack.

Such a spirit of depravity.

(I love God. I heard that word and had to look it up.)

Yes, depravity is fitting.

BUT GOD…

Is lifting up THE STANDARD, through you and I and those who dare to believe,

I’m going a step further and saying,

Those who revere Him as Trustworthy…

(I was taken back this morning to what it means to be reverent of Father.)

I believe it’s to believe.

Take Him at His Word and be disgusted by anything that falls short of His Truth in our minds.

He’s still God.

The Creator.

The Ultimate.

The MOST HIGH GOD.

And even though the heathen rages and tries to flood the earth,

Greater is He that is in us, that raised the Standard for us!

Look for, and expect good today family of God!

And Thank Him, reverently, aware of His presence.
