We had a shin dig at our house Saturday, for my daughter and her musician friends.
On their way out, one of our adopted family members, said,
“Has this been here the whole time?”
(I have to refer to him as adopted family, because of the emphasis of his time spent here at my house.
For a couple of years now, he’s here most every holiday and then some.)
And yet, this building on our property never caught his attention, until I had drawn his attention to it.
So, as I glanced at this verse this morning, I didn’t want to do the same thing.
“Such amazing mysteries are found within every miracle that nearly everyone seems to miss. Those with no discernment can never really discover the deep and glorious secrets hidden in your ways.”
Psalms 92:6 TPT
There’s so much of our God’s goodness, that we tend to “miss” the Glory.
So often people say, “I just don’t hear God.”
That’s not because God’s voice is not active.
But what most people do, is compare themselves to how others hear and how they voice what they’ve heard.
The reality is, that Peter said,
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The Word, is the surest way to Hear His Voice!
And according to Mark 4, what you do with your hearing by the Word will determine your understanding being opened even more so.
Get to Know Jesus.
Through the Word.
Explore the Kingdom with Him.
Just like I showed my family around Saturday, He longs to show you His Glory!
