Reflective Thumbtacks.
Genius.
After hunting the same spot faithfully, that my Sweet Prince scouted and set up for me last year,
He recently gave me his, while taking our son to a new location.
I was a bit nervous.
It was further than my old set up and I wasn’t too familiar with it in the dark.
But he had literally lit up my path.
He had gone before me and used reflective thumbtacks to light up my entire path to the stand.
In awe of his extravagant love for me, I was deeply aware of the same display of Love from Jesus to us.
Holy Ghost used the display of the lighted path to show how Jesus has gone before us and shielded our way.
Even in a dark world.
There was a sweet awareness of Dust’s presence, as I stepped where He’d been.
I knew I could, because He did.
Isn’t it the same for us in the Kingdom?
Jesus said Greater things will we do, because He’s done them!
So, where are His reflective thumbtacks?
In His Word,
And,
In the testimonies from your brothers and sisters.
They light up the darkness.
If He did it for anyone else, including Jesus,
He’s made it available to you and I.
I could have allowed fear to steal the trust in my heart for my husband’s knowing that I could do it.
If so, I would have missed my deer.
But glory to God, and Thanksgiving to my Sweet Prince, I did get my deer, and the sweetest of experiences.
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God;fn believe also in me.2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?fn3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.4 And you know the way to where I am going.” John 14:1-4
