Squirrels, Squirrels, Squirrels

“Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I’ve written about these pesky little critters before.

Every deer season, they would like to take my attention.

They are noisy.

They also,

sound-

much like deer at times,

but they aren’t.

Watching for deer, can also be like focusing on the Word.

You’ve got your sight where it should be, believing and holding fast to a Promise, and then all of the sudden you hear something that attracts your attention.

Brothers and Sisters, good isn’t always God.

Not that God isn’t always good, but we often settle for the distraction that takes our eyes off of Great-

His best for us.

Let me give you an example in the Word.

2 And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and was crying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely oppressed by a demon.” (Hunting deer/revelation of who Jesus is)

23 But he did not answer her a word. (Squirrel)

And his disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away, for she is crying out after us.” (Another squirrel)

24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Another squirrel)

25 But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.”26 And he answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”(Several Squirrels)

27 She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”28 Then Jesus answered her, “O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed instantly. (Deer- what she came for!)

It wasn’t squirrel season for me.

It was deer season.

Just because a word sounds a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s the Best.

Discernment studies if the sound and the size match!

Just because it sounds like a good Word, doesn’t mean that it’s beneficial at the time.

Good words can make a lot of big noise, but is it really a revelation?

Revelation looks like it sounds Brothers and Sisters.

It brings results.

Just like Grace will cause you to actually come up higher, not settle for less.

It sounds good when people tell me what I want and feel like hearing, but if it leaves me the same, it’s not Great.

Revelation brings forth truth.

The Word and the manifestation will match.

It’s good that people have ideas and even theology, but do their lives match their words.

A big craze right now in the body of Christ is spiritual warfare.

Sounds good.

But the Heavenly Reality, is this:

GREATER IS THE SAVIOR IN YOU than anything in this world.

The Battle HAS BEEN WON.

We need to start enforcing what WAS ACCOMPLISHED.

Feast with me today at Father’s Table.

That woman we read about in scripture had a revelation, that even the crumbs of Jesus touch would take care of her Situation-

In Him, we are privileged to sit and fully dine!

Let’s feast today in the Heavenly realm.
