“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”
Matthew 6:22 KJV
On Valentine’s Day, we celebrate love.
A lot of single’s aren’t the biggest fan of a day like this one.
But what if we were all single?
The kind Jesus is talking about here.
What if our eye was single?
What if we see everything through Light!
The light of what Jesus Has done.
There would be no more segregation of married and singles.
Color and race wouldn’t exist.
Diversity wouldn’t matter, because The Kind of Love, we Single’s in Jesus celebrate, is that of seeing every person worthy of the Blood shed and what was bought by it.
If I was truly single, I would be generous.
I just read the other morning, something I’ve been chewing on the past couple of days.
I saw where My Father was so generous that He paid for every sin to be forgiven and every disease to be healed.
So why aren’t we seeing this?
Because our eyes aren’t single.
Forgive me Father.
You paid for me to have your eyes.
