Do you remember being little and having a birthday party, or celebration,
and someone special, like Gramp’s and Gran would show up and mom would try to draw your attention to them-
Because you were too busy in the festivities and friends to acknowledge that they had even arrived.
I perceive Holy Spirit doing that with me this morning.
Turning my frenzied chin to look toward the direction of Someone Special.
My Father.
God is patient, and all of the Love attributes.
But I don’t want to miss His presence even in the celebrations of life.
My family and I are celebrating the purchase of a new camper.
It’s like a dream to us.
This morning, I’m hearing the birds chirping outside the big window and my eyes can’t focus on one thing for very long.
It’s all so exciting.
I’m surrounded by newness and things to explore.
But The One who Gave it all to me, is here, and should be the One my attention gives heed to.
In all of my ways, acknowledge Him…
(Not just to find a camper or give me life direction.. but even in the celebration)
And as He does, He sends The Word to draw my heart back to His…..
Right on time,
I’m pointed back to the Word from Holy Ghost.
I see you Father… seeing me.
Oh, How you love you give good things to your children.
