Look Again

“No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭AMP‬‬

A small glass of milk had been left in my sink to be washed.

To no avail, I rinsed and rinsed to clean a spot that looked as though it was on the outside.

I had to look again.

The spot was on the inside.

I had to turn the glass over and rinse from the other side.

Holy Ghost began ministering this to me a few days ago, about what happens when a thought becomes a stronghold in our mind.

We can try to wash and wash outside experiences away, but it’s going to take a different look.

The problem is in our mind.

And every.

Time…..

The problem leads back to self righteousness.

Trying to do things our way or how we think we’ve always done it, without Jesus.

Take heed, when you think you stand.

All of our outside circumstances can be cleansed with the Word, as long as our minds are in line with it.

Several years ago,

(proving the above verse… He has in the past…)

I was listening to a much needed message from a minister about the enemy sneaking in.

He used the example of he, and close friend, enjoying a gift he had sent him for Christmas.

He said he had sent his friend two different shirts to keep him in the latest fashion, as he had done years prior.

(The younger was clothing the elder.)

In the process, the secretary thought it would be funny to add to the gift.

So she arranged an ugly sweater as a part of the ensemble.

When pictures were sent of the arrived and welcomed package through the modeling of the shirts, the sending friend was appalled at one of the sweaters!

“That IS NOT FROM ME..” He said.

He then explained, like the secretary, the enemy can subtly high jack our minds.

And I’m going to take this a step further in this season, and say that he can high jack our gift-

through our minds.

The wrong sweater was so close to the right ones!

The devil never comes with an outright lie.

He twists truth.

If he can get you to believe that you’re just meant to use this illness for God’s glory then you won’t believe any longer for your healing.

You’ll settle with good enough.

If he can convince you that it’s Godly to stay in poverty, than he can take the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow to it.

That also keeps the Kingdom being spread to a trickle-

He doesn’t want us to walk in the clothing Jesus laid out for us.

That looks like this.

He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. Eph 1

We are BLESSED, to be a Blessing in the earth.

So, if we have it, (The Blessing) but it doesn’t seem to be clear..

Let’s go back to the spot on the glass…

Look at it different.

Maybe it’s not the circumstances, but how you look at them.

Do you see yourself as provided for, or maybe the one that was left out of the blessing?

This is an encouragement for all of us today.

Let’s take a different look.

Immerse ourselves in His Word.

If it’s not working one way, it may be time to turn that thinking upside down!
