While driving down the road the other day, we came to some road work, causing us to have to pay very close attention, not to drop off in the massive hole in the road.
On the way home yesterday, I get a call from my husband saying to avoid that road completely.
The good news- was that the hole was patched, but the road was now covered with loose gravel and oil!
This morning, I heeded that information and chose not to go down that road…
I just sensed such a weight to that phrase.
As if the Holy Spirit wanted me to avoid certain things by heeding His direction.
It really is that simple.
How many times do we have wisdom handed to us and yet choose by our own reasoning just to proceed without caution.
I loved what David said in yesterday’s bible reading:
“Your testimonies also are my delight And my counselors.”
Psalms 119:24 AMP
We have The Word and it’s wisdom as our counselors.
Wisdom is calling out to many today:
Don’t go down that road!
