“Sing Loud!” My papa used to say, from his big chair behind me, as I stood up to sing at church.
It wasn’t that I was the best singer….
It was because I was His… granddaughter.
I hear that same Voice through my Father today as I read this scripture:
“But about midnight when Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them;”
Acts 16:25 AMP
Prisoners are listening to us you know.
We have people who are bound all around us.
Paul and Silas were wrongfully accused, sharing the same place in a dungeon with ligit convicts.
But, they Sang Loud for God, The Father, and all took notice.
First to take notice was The Father.
He was so Happy to hear their praise that the earth shook!
Prison doors flew open, and the others noticed their own freedom because of Paul and Silas singing loud.
Their praise also shook the guard out of his spiritual slumber as well, saving his whole household.
So, no matter what you and I face today, heed the voice that has our back:
“Sing Loud!”
