It came bubbling out of me yesterday, “the Blessed life, is the Best life.”
I’ve been meditating on it ever since.
We often hear this scripture quoted;
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. |
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. |
But in the New Testament, Paul says this about our thoughts;
4 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. |
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. |
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. |
But…..We have the mind of Christ.
We have His Fulness.
We have the capacity to have those God thoughts revealed to us by the Spirit.
Everything that Adam lost was restored by Christ Jesus.
Adam and Eve were made in the very image and likeness of God, and given dominion.
They just didn’t use it over the enemy.
But our Jesus, did.
And then He gave us His Righteousness, His Victory, and He also gave us back our dominion.
We have the ability to live in the above and beyond, very good, more abundant, Blessed life that God intended.
So, why don’t we at times?
Because we allow the enemy access to steal, by entertaining the thought that we could be missing out on something that we may need to take back into our own hands.
We come back down to the natural way of thinking.
We think below our God given righteousness.
In order to think like God thinks, we have to know Him.
We have to become acquainted with Him through the Truth.
We have to behold Him.
One of the descriptions of that word is to have an interview with….
Think of that,
Have an interview with God.
Find out His Thoughts on the matter.
What’s the matter?
Anything that’s on your mind.
Yes, have an interview with God about it.
Behold Him.
What you behold is what you become.
