“Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope.”
Psalms 119:49 NKJV http://bible.com/114/psa.119.49.nkjv
Sitting in my stand, listening to the leaves crackle in the wind, with the anticipation of foot steps,
deer foot steps,
I recalled our children.
When their daddy or I have promised them something that we may do the next day, or that we said they could have,
and then maybe start to rethink it,
they retort back with, “Daddy, (or Mommy)- you promised.”
Like in the above picture, where I’m sure we had told them they could have a cupcake for breakfast, only because we didn’t want them to have one right before bed!
We make promises, as earthly parents, based on emotions, but God, the Perfect Parent, always has our best interest at heart.
And this is what I’m finding out….
He has Already ANSWERED before we ask. That’s why He gave us the Written Word.
If God says you can have it, It’s Yours for the taking. He doesn’t change His Mind.
Our emotions change. Symptoms change.
But the Promise, it’s steadfast.
I began to say that to my Heavenly Father about some promises that he made to me.
(This is well #3 by the way, so I’m recovering where I may have left off.
The promises-
Any of them that haven’t manifested yet.)
*When I’m experiencing some symptoms in my body,
“Daddy, You promised, that by the blood of your Son, I was healed.”
*When conditions aren’t favorable, and what God put in my heart seems to be going astray…
“You will give me the desires of my heart as I delight myself in you, Daddy, you promised.”
*When I’m threatened by fear-
“Daddy, you promised that with Long life you would satisfy me and show me your salvation.”
*When the funds seem to be running low-
“You shall supply every need according to your riches in glory, by Christ Jesus. Daddy…. you promised.”
Jesus actually said;
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Luke 11:13
So, go ahead. Remind your Father what He’s promised you.
It is His Good Pleasure to give you All that was purchased through the blood of Jesus.
For all the promises of God in him areyea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. 2 Corinthians 1:20
