He’s A Glad Glad Father

That’s the way God responds every time one lost sinner repents and turns to him. He says to all his angels, ‘Let’s have a joyous celebration, for that one who was lost I have found!’ ””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Remember how I ended the last post with,

If the shoe fits wear it?

Well, I believe you could be just the Cinderella, my King is looking for.

I remember, in the Cinderella story-

just how much the Prince’s Father yearned to have a large family.

He daydreamed about his Grandchildren-

(Although our Heavenly Father only has children)

I believe the same of Our Father.

I also, believe,

If you have been caught up in bondage,

Or have lost your way,

Consider this your white flag.

Your lost slipper.

And your Father,

Couldn’t be more overjoyed at your finding.

There is a celebration going on in the Heavenlies, For you,

Now-

Not just when you enter Heaven.

We read it in the above scripture and in another place where the Word declares that He rejoices over you.

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, soshall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee. Isaiah 62:5

This was concerning His people Israel, but in the New Covenant, everything through Jesus is Much More.

“Jesus continued, “In the same way, there will be a glorious celebration in heaven over the rescue of one lost sinner who repents, comes back home, and returns to the fold—more so than for all the righteous people who never strayed away.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

See that… More so.

And…this is speaking of someone coming back home, not being saved for the first time.

I’ve been both.

The One whom my Father found,

and,

sent out a rescue for,

And now, the one who wants to be a worker together with Him,

To see His delight in all who return.

This is a family affair.

So, I ask this morning

Does this shoe belong to you?
