I don’t know what comes to your mind when you hear that question.
If you’re a fella, you probably almost passed this one up.
But this question reminds me of the times my mom would ask me this question as a young girl…who perhaps had no answer, because I couldn’t find that little purse I’d left in a store somewhere.
Or,
The times my hubby asks me the same thing, so he can locate the keys to our car,
or my kids want a piece of gum-
or maybe,
the times I’ve misplaced it- even now.
But I believe the Father is asking that of His children today.
“Where’s your purse?”
¶ Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: |
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: |
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. |
The answer to the location of your purse will determine how you “spend”
the rest of your life.
You keep your money in your purse.
Your valuables.
You don’t go many places or do many things in the world today without money.
The same is true with Faith in the Kingdom.
We receive everything from God based on Faith in what Jesus accomplished.
In order to do that, we have to do something that I do frequently in the natural, and that is-
to switch purses.
Jesus told us the earthly purse will give out and often has holes.
Have you ever wondered why it is,
that no matter what you do,
or buy,
or have, it’s just not satisfying?
There’s a Hole in your purse.
Heaven’s Purse is the Original Designer bag.
Flawless.
And Filled-
every promise that was made,
is in there,
and paid for…
you’re now using the King’s Debit card.
Oh Hallelujah.
Think of it.
I encourage you to switch up your purse-
to the one Jesus has designed for you today.
I’m amazed at how God speaks to us through you! That is so cool! TY for that!
