“Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! How beautiful it is when we sing our praises to the beautiful God, for praise makes you lovely before him and brings him great delight!”

This should be reason enough for me to get my Praise On.
But for the past couple of days,
Mainly since I last ran…
I was amazed as I began to understand Grace.
You see, I used to look at my running like a tithe.
God, I’ll give you the first lap, and then you bless,
Or Grace,
the other nine.
(10 laps is exactly a mile for us down our driveway)
But I realized something….
I, don’t have the ability for even the first one on my own!
I thought, or I believe I was reminded by the Holy Ghost to recount the account of the ten lepers.
They were ALL healed you know.
Grace took care of it.
Before they attended any church service.
Before they paid tithes.
Before they even asked, the Answer was already Yes,
Because of Grace.
But only one of those guys came back to Thank Jesus.
He realized that what belonged to Him, now, could have only come from Jesus.
The others went on about their business, evidently entitled?
Entitlement is a mindset.
The Core is Unthankfulness.
Grace is a Gift.
The very breath we breathe is Grace.
Will we turn back to Praise or keep walking in what we think is our own strength?
