A Lion Knows He’s A Lion

And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough . But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” Romans 8:15 Msg

I was meditating on this before I even got out of bed-

And then my sweet sister sent it to me.

I was Thinking about the thoughts that I’m beginning to even deeper, believe that my Father thinks towards me.

I’m becoming aware by the thoughts that I know I think about others, even when they struggle to believe that’s how I feel about them.

I don’t know about you, but when I get to Heaven, I want to have used up all the privileges Jesus gave so much for me, and others to have.

I want it now!

I want to know how much He desires my being in His family right now.

Not just when I meet him face to face.

And He has more than proved it.

The problem lies with us believing it.

Can you imagine a lion with an identity crisis?

He’s crafted to be the king of the jungle, but because of the lies he’s believed about himself, he identifies as a worm.

Who told him he was a worm?

Maybe he never looked in the mirror, but was surrounded by worms.

I’m not saying your surrounded by worms, but being surrounded by the world isn’t much different.

They have a different standard and a phony mirror.

Jealousy and lack of identity motivates the world.

If they feel a certain way, they make it their aim to reflect that garb on you.

But, you can look in the mirror.

Like the one at the top of this blog, and see, you’re not a worm,

You’re a Lion!

You are the King’s Kid.

You have the Father of everything-

loving you and speaking His very life over your every step.

Jesus knew He was a Lion.

That didn’t mean that others didn’t reject Him, but you can’t care what others think about you when you know WHO YOU BELONG TO!

He knew His Father was the rightful owner of all things,

Including our hearts.

So, Jesus boldly proclaimed that Truth and birthed us into the Kingdom.

There’s a roar I’m hearing.

Believers are beginning to look in the mirror for themselves.

The antidote to rejection is knowing Who’s you are, and that you’re PLEASING to Him.

Will you believe His thoughts toward you today?
