“Circle Zion, take her measure, count her fortress peaks, Gaze long at her sloping bulwark, climb her citadel heights— Then you can tell the next generation detail by detail the story of God, Our God forever, who guides us till the end of time.”
Psalms 48:12-14 MSG
“Would you just look at it?”
“Look at this. Look at that.”
“Just look at it!”
God’s Glory.
It must be something, for the Angels to keep crying, “Holy!”
And I have seen glimpses of His Majesty all throughout my life.
As I rehearse His Goodness in my own life this morning, I want to encourage you to do the same.
Gaze at YOUR GOD.
Switch gears.
Many are glancing at God and Gazing at the devil.
It’s easy to see darkness when it’s all in your face, but God’s Glory surrounds, and overtakes the darkness.
Remember Elisha praying that God would open his servant’s eyes to See reality:
THERE IS MORE WITH US, than there is with them.
2/3 of the angels are STILL ON YOUR SIDE!
That’s a majority!
I’m praying the same thing Elisha did for all of this morning.
Father. Open our eyes to see the reality that your Glory outweighs the trials.
David prayed the same thing.
When his soul was cast down, He looked back at His UNDEFEATED GOD.
